Located in Whitley County, Whitko Middle School is an extraordinary educational environment and serves as the melting pot for Whitko's two elementary schools, Pierceton and South Whitley. Here, in Larwill, IN, a dedicated and caring staff, enthusiastic students, and supportive parents make Whitko Middle School a wonderful place for children to learn and grow!

Intentionally built for sixth through eighth graders, WMS serves approximately 350 students daily with classrooms and facilities which offer contemporary learning environments enriched by the latest technology. Students experience life beyond the four walls of the classroom as teachers utilize strategies that empower students to take ownership of their own actions and learning. Additionally, WMS values collaboration with local businesses and educational programs like Junior Achievement. 

Whitko Middle School is the second stage of a child's journey following elementary education, and prepares students to become young adults ready to engage at the High School level. Whitko proudly serves families across two counties, Whitley and Kosciusko, whose citizens have embraced a long-standing tradition of working together as one.
